Just like Krispy Kreme!

You know how when the Krispy Kreme “Hot Light” was on, it was a signal that something sweet and wonderful was happening inside, and that a real treat was coming? Well, the same thing happens at the 11th Street Records/National Southwestern Recording studio.
If you are enjoying the arts district and you see that light glowing red, it means that someone - maybe the great Nate Tannenbaum, Eric Duran-Valle, and myself - are making art inside.
On the right day, it may mean that we are working on Stuck in Stowe which will be available in paperback, e-book and audio formats Summer 2026.
As I have shared before, Stuck in Stowe is the story of Bill Dire, a conflicted contract killer who infiltrates a screenwriting clinic in Vermont in order to eliminate a Hollywood producer whose last flop lost mob money. It was a remake of Moby Dick told entirely from the point of view of the whale. Unfortunately, upon arriving, he learns that his “cover story” has been greenlit by the very person he is supposed to kill. Now, he is Stuck in Stowe, and must deal with a woodsy polymath who is also the town sheriff, an angry Russian mob boss, and a diabetic bear as he decides how his own story will end.
Stuck in Stowe, it’s a killer novel!
I’ve read it and it’s a hoot!!! Highly recommend to those bored of the ordinary. This novel is uniquely creative in only a way that the talented Matt Minson can create. I look forward to the audiobook for the performance that Nate brings to the various characters.
